The Great South Bay Yacht Racing Association held its annual Labor Day Regatta last weekend at Bellport Bay Yacht Club. A total of 15 sailboats took to the water on Sunday, Sept. 6, for the Queen of the Bay Race. Winners of Sunday’s race were Dylan Williams in first; Mary O’Brien and Connie Pilcher in second; Theo Riquier in third; Samuel White, Melody Williams, and Kevin Desmond in fourth; and Elvira, a classic sloop, placed fifth, manned by Thomas Riquier.
