This service is for persons of all faiths, as well as those not particularly religious, who are simply seeking an hour of great music in an era of sour notes, calmness in a time of turbulence, peace in a time of conflict, sweet treats in a time of sour grapes, conversation in a time of shouting, and six clergypersons with a four-minute limit to their presentations. This is held in a National Registry of Historic Places, awe-inspiring, vaulted-ceiling sanctuary that raises the spirit and lowers the blood pressure.
Participating houses of worship include the Congregational Church of Patchogue, St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the United Methodist Church of Patchogue, Temple Beth El of Patchogue, and a proclamation by the Honorable Mayor of Patchogue.
Refreshments and conversation afterward.
