Suffolk County police arrested two women for unauthorized practice of a profession during a massage parlor raid in Mastic on Thursday, Feb. 19.
In response to community complaints, Seventh Precinct Investigative Unit officers conducted a massage parlor investigation at Star Relax Spa, located at 1360 Montauk Highway, at 4:08 p.m.
Yingying Wang, 38, of Centereach, the owner of the spa, and Huiping Lin, 62, of Centereach, an employee of the spa, were charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession.
Wang and Lin were given a Desk Appearance Ticket and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 11.
