Luncheon to be held Sept. 17

Last month, the Moriches Bay Garden Club gathered at Crystal Beach for their August meeting.  Members signed up to bring an appetizer, a lunch item, or dessert.  Everyone tried something that was made by someone else and all of the food was delicious.

Most items on our agenda were related to our fundraiser luncheon coming up on Sept. 17.  It will be held at Rock Hill Golf and Country Club from 12:30 to 4 p.m.  There will be a delicious buffet lunch, beautiful raffle baskets, dessert and coffee, and our guest speaker will be Alex Calamia from News 12.

Be sure to include the names of the people who will be attending.  We will need the names for our check-in list.  We’re going to have a great afternoon!

Our October meeting will be at the Center Moriches Library on Oct. 15, at 1 p.m.  We will have a speaker who will talk about “The Truth About Garden Myths.” All are welcome to join us.  We are always looking for new members to be part of our club.
