Fire districts holding elections on Dec. 12

Several area fire departments are holding elections on Dec. 12. Here are the candidates.

Bellport

Paul Neumann (incumbent) is running against John Mehrkens for a five-year term.Election is Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Blue Point

Eric Ferraro is running unopposed for a five-year term. Election is Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m

Brookhaven

Lawrence Archer is running unopposed for a five-year term. There is one proposition on the ballot to open a capital reserve account for the purchase of radio communications equipment. Election is Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Hagerman

Ralph Lettieri Sr., Pete Piretti, and Eric Kaufer are competing for one two-year term. Carl Forgione (incumbent) and Ralph Stephani Jr. are competing for a five-year term. Election is Dec. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mastic

Patrick Greene (incumbent) is running unopposed for a five-year term. There is one proposition for the sale of a 2004 Spartan fire engine. Election is Dec. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mastic Beach

Walter Greene (incumbent) is running unopposed for a five-year term.
Election is Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Medford

Norman J. Melcher (incumbent) is running unopposed for a five-year term. Election is Dec. 12 from 3 to 9 p.m.

Patchogue

Gregory Lagarenne is running unopposed for a four-year term. Terry Johnson (incumbent) is running against Diane Poulos for a five-year term. Election is Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.
