Colonials take big win at homecoming

William Floyd pride and spirit was in the air for the homecoming festivities this past weekend!

The celebration began last Friday, Oct. 20, in the afternoon with a thunderous pep rally, followed by the homecoming dance, and continued into Saturday with the homecoming crowning and football game.

The Colonials defeated Walt Whitman, 21-7, in front of a boisterous crowd, improving their record to 6-1, the best in Division I. The varsity cheerleaders, varsity Rockettes, and the high school pep band also performed, adding to the homecoming atmosphere. 

The Colonials’ next and final game of the regular season will be at Commack on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m. Playoffs begin the weekend of Nov. 3-4.
